Because, well, it's the only thing that makes sense, and because the alternative (sleepwalking through life and just "getting through the day," day after day, after day, until you die) just seems to be a waste.

So, these individuals, like your LiveReal Editors, are on the quest, hot on the trail - for "happiness," for "bliss," for "real love," for "God," for "total enlightenment," for "serious, serious fun" . . . or they're even searching for . . . something . . . and aren't even quite sure what "IT" is - they're seekers . . . and perhaps, sometimes, "finders."

(- and of course, this is all a strange kind of paradox:
- because these types of folks are those who think for themselves, yet also know how valuable it is to share their thinking with others . . . and, for example, it's about an online community for folks who don't typically join online communities . . . and the list goes on.
