This "Tantric Master of the West" offers a very unique, and sometimes compelling message that has impressed many people who have come into contact with it. His message of spirituality, sexuality, and chivalry is one that we have found to be incredibly intriguing and impressive.

Barry's message can sometimes be difficult to understand at first. Although it seems that he is perfectly sure of what he is talking about, it is sometimes less clear if anybody else truly does. He has developed his own terminology, using words (such as "self," the "pygmy," the "earth" verses the "world," "excitement" verses "passion" and so on) which can sometimes seem obscure, but eventually . . . probably . . . makes sense.

The purpose of love between man and woman is to raise consciousness.
The physical act of sex is either the root of ego and illusion or the source of love and consciousness.
Consciousness is achieved by meditation, (as described in the cassette "Start Meditating Now") or in other words, becoming still (as described in the book Stillness Is the Way).

Although his message can be useful to almost anyone at various times, the primary audience for his relationship materials are those individuals who are in a committed relationship.

His materials are also not for the casual bathroom reader, and is not understood by browsing through a book or listening to a cassette or two. Fully practicing and understand the message Long outlines is a long-term affair.
